# Download artifact content

The REST endpoint returns raw bytes. This TypeScript example also fetches metadata and verifies byte length and SHA-256. For a raw Response use `revise.artifacts.content(id)`. Encrypted content is compact JWE, with `application/jose` MIME and a `.jwe` filename.
